| Kevin Terefenko, MD, a native of Berks County, received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 1991. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Villanova, he attended Georgetown University School of Medicine where he graduated in 1995. Dr. Terefenko completed an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Following his residency, he completed sub-specialty training in adult reconstruction and joint arthroplasty at the prestigious Anderson Orthopaedic Institute in Alexandria, VA. Upon completion of his fellowship training in July 2001, Dr. Terefenko returned home to Reading where he began practicing. Currently, Dr. Terefenko specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of arthritis including total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy, and minimally invasive procedures. |

Jennie Shaffer, LPN
Jennie graduated in 2004 from RACC Practical Nursing Program and has worked in orthopaedics for over 3 years. She earned the Frances Troutmam award for nursing excellence for outstanding clinical performance in 2004.

Barbara Easterday, LPN
Barb comes to AJRC with over 41 years of nursing experience, the last 12 of which were spent specializing in orthopaedics. |

Sylvia Sharp
Sylvia has worked the front office of
medical orthopaedic practices for over 16 years. She joined the AJRC team in
June 2008.
