During Your Evaluation
- You are encouraged to ask questions of your entire health care team while in the office – physician’s assistants, x-ray technicians, nurses or physical therapists. They can also provide helpful reference information, such as brochures or online educational resources, relating to your condition.
- During the evaluation with your doctor, please discuss any concerns or questions you have about your condition, even if you feel it may be of an embarrassing nature.
- Take notes on what the doctor tells you and please ask questions if you don’t understand the meaning of a word or instructions for taking medications.
- Ask what to expect from your treatment, what affect it will have on your daily activities and what you can do to prevent further issues.
